Seventh Grade Requirements

Seventh grade students are required to complete and earn credit for the four core academic courses:  Math 2, Language Arts 2, Science 2, and Civics.  In addition to these courses, students are also required to complete a Physical Education course.  If necessary, reading is also offered to students.  Here at Freeport Middle School, we also offer Advanced Math, Advanced Language Arts, Advanced Science, and Advanced Civics.  It is ultimately the determination of the Guidance Counselor, Ms. Benner, for a student's placement in advanced academics based on grades, discipline history, and FCAT scores.
