Odyssey of the Mind (OM™) is a creative problem-solving program involving students from kindergarten through college. Team members work together at length to solve a predefined long-term problem and present their solution at competition. OM teaches students how to develop and use their natural creativity to become problem-solvers. OM also emphasizes teamwork, budgeting, time management, public speaking, and so much more. This international program is designed to help students at all learning levels grow as individual learners, grow as team members, and to reach their full potential.

Odyssey of the Mind involves meeting after school with a team to solve a long-term problem and work on spontaneous skills. Also, students will participate in three scheduled Saturday events;

  • Fall Spontaneous Fair – November 4, 2022, 9 am – 12 pm,

  • Winter Spontaneous Fair- January 21, 2023, 9 am – 12 pm,

and finally the Emerald Coast Regional Odyssey of the Mind Tournament, March 4, 2023 @ Shoal River MS – ALL DAY!
