Our agriscience foundations classes started learning about poultry production this week. One of the topics covered was egg quality and grading. Students had the opportunity to candle eggs in class on Wednesday and Thursday.
Candling is the process of using light to help determine the quality of an egg. Our foundations students used the USDA's Official Egg Air Cell Gauge to determine the size of the air cell in the egg and the interior grade of the egg.

The annual Pre-K Easter egg hunt at the Wise Center was a huge success! Thank you to the student leaders from Anchor Club, Key Club, and FBLA for your excellent work hiding the eggs, assisting the little ones in finding them, and ensuring a fun time for all.
