🌱🌿 Growing Innovation in the FMS Agriculture Program! 🌿🌱
A huge thank you to the Walton County Classroom Education Grant Program for supporting the Freeport Middle School Agriculture Program with vertical tower gardens! This grant is giving our students the opportunity to explore hydroponics, sustainable agriculture, and modern growing techniques through hands-on learning.
Our Bulldogs have been excited to experiment with hydroponic gardening and sustainable food production, gaining valuable real-world experience in STEM, agriculture, and environmental science.
We truly appreciate the Walton County Classroom Education Grant Program for investing in our students and helping our agriculture program continue to grow! 🌿💙🧡

⏰ The FINAL day to turn in cheer tryout packets is TOMORROW!
In order to participate in tryouts, students must also have a current sports physical on file by Monday. No physical on file = no tryout eligibility.

Attention 8th grade students planning to play sports at Freeport High School (FHS) next year: A heart screening is required to be eligible to participate in high school athletics.
📅 Screening Date: Friday, March 6
📍 Location: Freeport High School (students will be transported from FMS)

To attend the heart screening, parents/guardians must:

Submit a signed permission slip allowing their student to travel to FHS.

Our Leadership students recently enjoyed an incredible field trip to Grayton Beach State Park, where learning came to life outside the classroom. Students participated in hands-on lessons with aquatic ROVs, explored the park on a nature hike, and learned about ocean plastics, environmental stewardship, and conservation.
This experience encouraged leadership, responsibility, and respect for our natural environment while giving students meaningful, real-world learning opportunities. We are proud of our Bulldogs for representing FMS so well! 💙🧡
