✈️ Flight Training: Communication & Collaboration Edition! ✈️
Every successful flight depends on clear communication between the cockpit and the crew—and today, our Freeport Middle School staff put those skills to the test! 🧑✈️📡
During Monday's professional development activity, one crew member had to draw an object using only verbal directions from their teammates... without ever seeing the original picture! 🎨😅 Let's just say there were a few "unexpected flight paths" along the way!
The challenge reminded us that effective communication requires more than just talking—it takes active listening, teamwork, trust, and collaboration. These are the same skills we'll use every day as we work together to help our Bulldogs soar.
Whether we're navigating the classroom or preparing students for success, we're committed to staying on the same flight plan.
🧡💙 Cleared for collaboration. Ready for takeoff.

Before our Bulldogs could officially take off for another incredible school year, our crew needed a little fuel. ✈️🥞☕
A huge THANK YOU to Destiny Worship Center for sponsoring our Back-to-School Breakfast and making sure our flight was fully catered before departure! Your generosity gave our staff the perfect runway to launch into an amazing year.
And every successful flight needs a great captain! 🧑✈️ Thank you to our Captain, Mr. Smith, for helping chart the course for another fantastic year at Freeport Middle School. With a crew this dedicated and a community that supports us so well, we're cleared for takeoff!
Fasten your seatbelts, Bulldogs... it's going to be an incredible journey! 💙🧡🐾

As the school year comes to an end, we want to recognize an incredible group of students who help make Freeport Middle School such a special place. Our Leadership students serve our school community in countless ways and truly embody what it means to be a Bulldog leader.
Throughout the year, these students have given tours to new students and families, mentored their peers, participated in Buddy Reading with our ESE students, delivered morning announcements, hosted fundraisers, welcomed guests at school events, and stepped up whenever help was needed. Their positive attitudes, servant hearts, and commitment to helping others have made a lasting impact on our school culture.
A special thank you goes to Mrs. Griner for creating, leading, and supporting such a meaningful program. Her dedication to developing student leaders has helped these young Bulldogs grow in confidence, character, and service.
Thank you to our Leadership students for all you do to make Freeport Middle School a welcoming, caring, and connected school community. We are proud of each of you! 🐾
