🎽 Track & Field Update! 🎽
Thank you to all the athletes who tried out for track & field — we had over 70 Bulldogs come out, which is amazing!
All athletes who tried out need to stop by Coach Duncomb’s room on Tuesday or Wednesday to pick up your track information sheet.
There will be track practice and a mandatory parent meeting on Thursday, the 22nd. More details are on the information paper.

Today, all four Freeport schools—Freeport Learning Center (FLC), Freeport Elementary School (FES), Freeport Middle School (FMS), and Freeport High School (FHS)—came together for professional development focused on classroom management and student behavior strategies.
We were excited to learn from Amie Dean, the Behavior Queen, who shared proven approaches for understanding student behavior, creating effective classroom systems, and building positive learning environments that support student success. Did you see the recent news? Our very own outstanding educator, Naomi Gomillion, has been named one of the three finalists for District Teacher of the Year! 👏
Superintendent Hughes stopped by to personally share the exciting news with Mrs. Gomillion’s band students, and Mr. Smith made sure she could enjoy the moment by FaceTiming her so she didn’t miss a thing.

🎄✨ A Festive Start to Christmas Break! ✨🎄
Today, our 5th graders and their families enjoyed a very special holiday breakfast as we kicked off Christmas break in the best way possible—together! The room was filled with joy, laughter, and plenty of holiday cheer.
🎅💚 Santa Claus and even the Grinch made surprise visits, traveling from table to table to greet families and spread some Christmas fun. It was a wonderful morning creating memories and celebrating our school community.
