🌊🌿 Leadership Field Trip Experience 🌿🌊
Our Leadership students recently enjoyed an incredible field trip to Grayton Beach State Park, where learning came to life outside the classroom. Students participated in hands-on lessons with aquatic ROVs, explored the park on a nature hike, and learned about ocean plastics, environmental stewardship, and conservation.
This experience encouraged leadership, responsibility, and respect for our natural environment while giving students meaningful, real-world learning opportunities. We are proud of our Bulldogs for representing FMS so well! 💙🧡

🎓🐾 AVID College Visit Experience 🐾🎓
Our 7th grade AVID students recently had the opportunity to visit the FSU Panama City campus, where they explored different college pathways and learned about the many options that could be part of their future. This experience helped students begin envisioning life after middle school and the possibilities that come with continued education.

🌟📘 Introducing the FMS Dean’s List 📘🌟
This semester, our Dean of Students, Mr. Gillis, launched a new program called the Dean’s List to recognize students who demonstrate strong character and leadership. Each month during Monday Lunch Discussions, Mr. Gillis focuses on a specific character quality and challenges students to intentionally embody it throughout the school day.
Based on recommendations from staff and students, along with what he observes firsthand, one student from each grade level is selected to be highlighted. The January character focus was Respect.
👏 Congratulations to our January Dean’s List recipients:

• 6th Grade: Jacob Payne
• 7th Grade: Jase Ile
• 8th Grade: Caroline Neal
As a reward, students received free seating at lunch with friends, free Snack Shack coupons, a water bottle filled with fidgets, and a Dean’s List sticker.
