🦃🍂 2025 Thanksgiving Meal Program 🍂🦃

We’re excited to share this wonderful opportunity from Caring & Sharing of South Walton! Each family will receive items for a Thanksgiving meal along with regular pantry food items. In addition, Coats for Kids will be provided by the Knights of Columbus on November 17, 19, and 21 (while supplies last).

📌 Registration is open in October – Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9 AM–2 PM.
📍 Caring & Sharing of South Walton, 112 Lynn Drive, Santa Rosa Beach

✅ Pickup dates are assigned based on your last name (see flyer below for details).

💙🐾 Last night, we celebrated our 8th grade football players and cheerleaders! 💛🎉

It was the perfect capstone to a great season that saw our Bulldogs finish 2nd in the conference and earn a shot at the conference championship next week. 🏈🔥 This marks the best football finish in over seven years—a true testament to the hard work and dedication of our players and coaches.

A big thank you to LIV Adventures for sponsoring the pregame meal, and congratulations to our athletes and coaches on an incredible season. We are proud of you! 💪🐾

📝 Today, our students will be taking the District Writes assessment. This important test helps us measure each student’s current level of writing and prepares them for the FAST Writing Assessment later this school year.

Testing will wrap up around 10:30 AM, and students will then resume their normal schedule. Thank you for supporting our Bulldogs as they show what they know! 💙🐾💛

🌟 What an inspiring day in Mrs. Robinson's 8th Grade Science class! 🌟

Our students explored the fascinating world of pH by testing common household liquids. 🧪💧 Through hands-on experiments, they discovered how different combinations can help maintain homeostasis in the human body.

🏀 Boys Basketball Tryouts 🏀 📅 Date: Friday, October 3rd 🕒 Time: 3:00 – 5:00 PM 📍 Location: Freeport Learning Center (old FMS) Gym Students will be bused over after school. Parents, please plan to pick up your athlete at the FLC gym at 5:00 PM. 👉 A current physical must be on file for students to participate. 🎓✨ Our 7th Grade AVID students in Mr. Mayer’s class have been hard at work researching and presenting their college projects! Each student selected a college they dream of attending and shared their vision for the future. 🌟

We are so proud of the effort, creativity, and confidence our Bulldogs showed in their presentations. This project is one of the many ways AVID helps students begin setting goals and planning for success beyond middle school. 💙🧡🐾

🎉👏 Congratulations to Brynn Kelly for earning 3rd place in Extemporaneous Debate at this weekend’s competition! 👏🎉

Brynn went head-to-head with middle schools from across the Panhandle of Florida and brought home our first-ever award in this event — a huge milestone for our program and just the beginning of many more successes to come! 🌟

A special thank you to Mrs. Christian for her dedication, guidance, and for building such a wonderful program for our students. 🐾💙🧡
